Community Crime Awareness Day organized by Mississauga Chinese Business Association

VIP ribbon cutting ceremony.

Saturday September 15th., 2012 at Celebration Square in Mississauga.

Once again the Mississauga Chinese Business Association and it's partner the Peel Regional Police, Peel Fire  and EMS as well as the SafeCity Mississauga hosted its annual Community Crime Awareness Day on Saturday September 15th. 2012 at Celebration Square. This is a showcase event where Peel Police were at a community event to educate the public about crime prevention.

This event annually draw a huge crowd and like previous years this year draw a bigger crowd. I draw one conclusion to their success and that is even though the show was great but the free Chinese lunch provided by the main sponsor Ocean Supermarket was a big selling and crowd attraction. If you miss this year event make sure you mark down in your calender for 2013 on the second Saturday of September.

Lakeshore Corridor Community Team fourth annual Paddle for the People fundraising event!

Saturday August 25th. 2012

It is sad that when an event like this is not well attended for what ever reason. Come on residences of this great city of Missssauga lend your support for this great cause. The fund raised from this fun pack Saturday near the lake on the Credit River is well distributed to the local community charity.
This year about thirteen teams gather at the Port Credit Legion Hall to compete in the great legs powered pedal boat race. Thought the crowds were small but there was so much enthusiasm that you can feel the spirit of the race was there.
For next year I hope more team will participate in the worthty cause.
