This year SafeCity Mississauga together with the Peel Library jointly organized the 2nd. Annual Neighbors Night Out with thousand of local residences attending at the Courtneypark Library. Superintendent Robert Devolin Officer in charge of 11 Division Peel Regional Police was on hand to greet the residences and to thank them for coming out and making this event a success. SafeCity Vice Chair Mr. Victor Oh thank the volunteer and the sponsor for this event for their contribution in helping the success of the Neighbours Night Out.
Safe City Mississauga is a not for profit organization create by the City of Mississauga with a mandate to lead a common vision concerning community safety and crime prevention in the city. In 2009 the new Neighbours Night Out program was successfully launch to compliments and support the ongoing Safe City Mississauga programs, such as Neighbourhood Watch and the Crossroads Youth Academy.

Neighbours Night out is a street party, encouraging neighbor to gather and meet each other and to increase community awareness about safety in their neighborhood.
