Newcomer Centre of Peel Chinese New Year Celebration

Newcomer Centre of Peel (NCP) began as a Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) Program and Childcare service about twenty years ago. Today, NCP is the leader in settlement and integration services within the Region of Peel supporting newcomer families in their settlement process.

Newcomer Centre of Peel is a non-profit organization offering complimentary services to help newcomers moving to Peel and to promote a strong diversity as well as cultural collaboration and enhancement.

Newcomer Centre of Peel currently provide services in over 30 different languages and proudly embrace all diversity and multiculturalism.

Not surprising today Newcomer Centre of Peel as part of their program welcome the Golden Tiger into Peel at T.L Kennedy Secondary School to a capacity crowd. Together Ms Effat Ghassemi (Exec. Dir of NCP)  and Mr. Victor Oh (Vice Chair SafeCity Mississauga) officially declare today event and greeted the guest and wishes them a happy and properous Chines New Year.

This year the ceremony were conducted in English, Chinese and Korean because the Korean and Chinese celebrate their New Year on the same day.
