KOFC Christmas party at Mississauga Open Door

Thursday December 15th 2011 at Open Door in Square One Shopping Center



In March 29th, 1882, thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut state legislature, officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society. Today the Order is still hold true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity.
The Knights was organizeded to give financial aid to its members and their families. They also provided Mutual aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

Tonight the Knights of Columbus No: 12372 and the Mississauga Open Door jointly invited many of the Mississauga least fortunate to joint them for their Christmas party at the Open Door facility in Square One Shopping Centre.

  1. This is so beautiful! Every year, to make Christmas even more special I organize a free food party for all those people who don’t get to celebrate Christmas. This time also I have booked one of the biggest LA venues for the party.
