Lakeshore Corridor Community Team

The sounds of fast-paced fun will fill the village of Port Credit on Saturday, August 25th, as Lakeshore Corridor Community Team returns with the fourth annual Paddle for the People fundraising event!

More than 30 teams will compete in paddle boat races at the Port Credit Legion to raise money for charity and help those living in the local community. Races will be held every hour in a round-robin tournament, and the winning team will be presented with a special commemorative trophy! Participants will also enjoy live entertainment, a silent auction, prizes and much more!

Entry fees are $299 per team of 2 (charitable tax receipts can also be issued), which includes admission for a team of 4, a barbecue lunch and a steak dinner. Boats will also be provided for the event. Registration forms can be downloaded from LCCT`s website (www.lakeshorecorridor.com).

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to Lakeshore Corridor Community Team, a non-profit community group that supports individuals in need from the Port Credit, Lorne Park, Clarkson and Lakeview areas. The Waterside Inn, a full-service all-suite boutique hotel in Port Credit, is proud to be the lead sponsor for this year’s fundraiser.
